Durch diese Magnetschalter-Version bekommt man die Möglichkeit, eine zuvor eingestellte Höchstdrehzahl einzuschalten, und damit wahlweise volle Leistung oder gedrosselte Leistung per Magnet zu aktivieren.
Die Einstellmöglichkeiten sind über stufenweise verstellbare Potentiometer und verschiedene Schaltstufen im Gehäuseinneren wählbar und können mit einem schmalen Schraubenzieher leicht verstellt werden.
Der Vorgang wird aktiviert indem man mit einem mitgelieferten Magneten (z. B. am Schlüsselbund) über eine bestimmte Stelle am Fahrzeug streicht.
